HEADACHES~~~GRRRR

Okay so I thought I was over these migraines since I cut my hair all off but I have had two really big ones just since this weekend so I assume that it wasn't from the weight of my hair at all now. :O( Which kinda upsets me considering I had been growing my hair out for over a year. I had never had long hair and always had wanted long hair but cut it because I thought it was causing my headaches.
Oh well, Its cute, now to just figure out what is causing my head to hurt so bad.
I was told to keep a journal of everything I eat or smell, use ect... ugh that is going to be exhausting but I guess it will help figure out what is triggering them so I can avoid it.
Its always behind my right eye,eye brow, that side of my forehead, behind my nose on that side just basically on that side of my face and head and over the ear. My doctor has prescribed me mobic which is for arthritis and kinda worked (the whole one pill I took) I found out it ISN'T compatible with breastfeeding which I was told it was. and then I had them prescribe me Imitrex. Which holy shit was expensive! 30+dollars for 9 pills. In my world that's pricey!
But that made me soooooo sick. I had to lay motionless on the floor in the dark or I would have thrown up. Ugh it was a gross feeling medicine. Never again. Wish I could get my money back!
Anyways so I don't even know what to take for them now besides Ibuprofen or Tylenol.
I had one last night from 5ish to almost 2 in the morning. I couldn't even go to sleep Its a good thing I had just rented Sex in the City!
oh well, hopefully they'll get better...

That sucks Melissa! My sis gets really bad migraines too and she found out she had a sensitivity to wheat so she eats as little as possible and she almost never gets them anymore. The journal is a great idea. I hope you can find out your trigger so you can quit getting them!

I have had migraine forever . . . ask for the NOSE SPRAY of Imitrex. I found I had very little side effects from it since it was more in my blood stream, not my stomach.

Have you had your eyes checked??? If I wear my glasses more I get fewer.

Food triggers are common. Everyone is different though.

Feel better soon. Get a gel mask and try that. :(
