I started my own photography business!

I am so excited! In about 8 days I have my first photo shoot! I need to build up a portfolio so my first 3 sessions I have booked are freebies BUT its okay, I need the practice! After I get those three done and over with I will create my own website so I can get some more business!

HEADACHES~~~GRRRR

Okay so I thought I was over these migraines since I cut my hair all off but I have had two really big ones just since this weekend so I assume that it wasn't from the weight of my hair at all now. :O( Which kinda upsets me considering I had been growing my hair out for over a year. I had never had long hair and always had wanted long hair but cut it because I thought it was causing my headaches.
Oh well, Its cute, now to just figure out what is causing my head to hurt so bad.
I was told to keep a journal of everything I eat or smell, use ect... ugh that is going to be exhausting but I guess it will help figure out what is triggering them so I can avoid it.
Its always behind my right eye,eye brow, that side of my forehead, behind my nose on that side just basically on that side of my face and head and over the ear. My doctor has prescribed me mobic which is for arthritis and kinda worked (the whole one pill I took) I found out it ISN'T compatible with breastfeeding which I was told it was. and then I had them prescribe me Imitrex. Which holy shit was expensive! 30+dollars for 9 pills. In my world that's pricey!
But that made me soooooo sick. I had to lay motionless on the floor in the dark or I would have thrown up. Ugh it was a gross feeling medicine. Never again. Wish I could get my money back!
Anyways so I don't even know what to take for them now besides Ibuprofen or Tylenol.
I had one last night from 5ish to almost 2 in the morning. I couldn't even go to sleep Its a good thing I had just rented Sex in the City!
oh well, hopefully they'll get better...

The day in the life of Melissa

Here are some pics from Madilynn's Dr. appt. We were sitting in the waiting room
and I took some cute pictures of her and then 2 min. later we went back into the
room and I went to take more pictures and all of a sudden my camera said naw, I'm gonna not work anymore.
I didn't drop it or shake it or do anything to it. It just decided to shit out on me. The
next two pics are what it does when I take a pic now. I turned the 3rd pic black and white
because it was really bad. But aww I'm so annoyed. Just in time for the holidays too.
We have a warranty on it till 2010 but I have to mail to some place God knows where and then wait for them to send it back.
But you know it wont be back by Christmas so I'll be stuck using disposables. ugh.
Oh well, such is life. I have had it since before Kyler was born so it has done a
really good job. It probably needs serviced anyways.
The 4Th picture is my poor knee from when I feel yesterday LOL
Its so much better today. It hurts but Wes and I talked and he seems to think he's
going to build a half wall with a door. LOL We'll see. I doubt it will ever happen but I
will so feel like I live in a damn daycare. Oh well, no more tripping and falling over
the baby gate...

I am so freaking mad right now

Seriously. OMG I have a babygate that is blocking off my livingroom so the little ones can't go into my diningroom or kitchen. Its one of those real long gates.
The phone was ringing so I went to step over it and I tripped and fell! I landed on my knees. I have brand new cord pants on and ripped a hole in the knee and jacked my knee all up. My knee looks horrible! ughhh I am so mad right now. And to top it off it wasn't anyone important! It was the dang phone company wanting money!! LOL
So now I barely can walk. The kids are being onery and I have nobody over here to help me out :O(

Madilynn's first Birthday

Well, I made it through my last "First" birthday. So glad
but sad at the same time. She did so well,
She is by far my clingiest yet did soo well. She let others
hold her and sat in her highchair. She actually ripped
open her presents and played in her cake. I think
she relished in all the attention she was receiving!
A true princess.
She got some wonderful gifts. Her favorite so far I think
is her couch. She got from my Mom and Dad. She also
loves all the baby dolls she got.

I took her to her one year check up December 8Th and
she is doing really well. She weighs 16.8 now. Sittin
at a whole one percentile. woohoo!
Shes 28 1/2 in long.
She got her first MMR shot and her First chicken pox shot so that was scary.
She did really well, only ran a small fever thru that
first night. She also had to have blood drawn so they could test her lead level and iron.
That was rough to watch. Those little eyes looking
up at me saying why are you letting them do this
to me. :O(
She stood up for the first time Saturday night. (On her birthday the 6Th) That was exciting! On her birthday!
Now shes doing it all the time. She'll be walking in no time!
She is still nursing on demand.
I would like to stop but she has other plans. She is
showing no signs of wanting to quit so who am I to take it away. She'll quit when shes ready I suppose.
